  • Maurice Adamson

    • 2 January 2014

    From Pete:

“The gig on January 6th is to commemorate a great bloke and bass player. Maurice was in my band, The Flying Tigers, from 1974-6. His great sense of humour and excellent musicianship helped us all through a fairly difficult period, the band suffering many vehicle breakdowns and no record deal. Demos survive and I hope to include them in a compilation from those lost years in the near future. Les Davidson, guitarist from that band and later a famed touring muso with Joan Armatrading among others, will lead the band on the gig, and I will contribute some vocals, hopefully on songs featured by the FT’s. Come and enjoy.”
